The most talked about boar in the early part of 2012!!! Earthquake was the Champion Duroc Boar at the 2012 Winter Type Conference where he turned heads and caused uproar due to his attributes never before seen by many along ringside. Quite simply put, Earthquake is a freak of nature when it comes to the positives he brings to the table. Never before have we laid eyes on a red boar with this much natural muscle mass and width of skeleton! To quote our good friend Ralph Doak “He is the biggest bladed, heaviest boned, widest chested, most massive animal I have ever seen of any breed!" He is one that is incredibly stout being jumbo legged with great big feet and square even toes. Study this one’s build and you will see that the set to his angles and to his joints are correct and where they need to be. The mass and power tied with the dimension and volume this guy has is impressive! Finally for the ruggedness and stoutness this guy possesses, he is so cool fronted with excellent extension to his head and neck. Earthquake is definitely the most different boar to come thru the Duroc ring in sometime! Change is often something that people are too hesitant to jump on and try. We would like to generously thank the Rodibaugh's, Range and Theobald for tying into this genetic giant! Don’t be left hanging on for dear life when the Earthquakes are rumbling through the showring for years to come!!! |

Total Outcross! Square topped, big hipped, sound & flexible! What a boar! Big Ten was the popular $10,250 Top Selling Duroc Boar that can still get out and move with ease. He is square out of the back side of his blade, expressive in his top line coming down into a big, stout hip. Big Ten also has a tremdendous depth of body and shape to the center portion of his ribs. To sum it up, this is one sound, stout, massive, expressive Duroc boar that is a total outcross to most of the Duroc breed! If you are looking for a powerful, outcross Duroc boar, then Big Ten is the boar for you! |

KING - his name says it all! This very popular boar is heavy boned; huge center rib; monster, square hip; wide, grooved top; and has an impeccable head and neck. This pedigree has Champions on both sides - the sire Crown Royal is the $100,000 Champion Duroc Boar 2011 STC and the dam Problem Solver X Buck Cherry is the $7,500 Champion Duroc Gilt 2011 SWTC. If you need a powerful Duroc boar that has it all - bone, mass, rib, muscle, the look, and soundness, look no further than the KING.
Thanks to Earl Cain and Family to allowing us to purchase a semen contract on this great red boar! |

This may one of the best buys LVS has ever mad. That is a big statement, but this is a big time boar! Complete Gameis the complete sire of the future. He is extremely wide based, up headed, square topped, stout featured and expressive in his muscle. This moderate framed boar will add width, power, muscle and style in a flexible, structurally correct package. He is sired by the $19,000 Perfect Gameboar here at LVS and his dam is one of Don R Smith’s best sows and bred like the OK City Res gilt responsible for the recent Mappes success. He will make showpigs with early muscle and heavy bone. If you are serious about making better Durocs and serious about winning, don’t settle for just playing the game, for the victory with Complete Game. |

2010 Indiana State Fair Grand Champion. We found this boar to be complete in all areas, yet possessing a lot of product down his top and finishing with a huge square rump to go ahead and call him Meat Packer. Soundness is a very easy task for this boar day in and day out having big square even toes front and back, while placing them on all four corners. Whether your looking for a barrow to compete in the final drive of your show or want to replace some out of trend females this guy will provide on either end.

Sired by the Fall Classic Champion Duroc boar, Mass Monster. Game Changer is incredibly wide based (he leaves you as wide as he comes at you), heavy boned, deep ribbed, stout skulled, high tail set, all in a very sound complete package. He comes from a very deep litter and is the best boar Mark Hurd has ever produced. He will work on all types of sows while being a total outcross to the popular lines today. A sow bred to him will very valuable next spring.

Complete and Balanced yet Sound, Wide & Powerful.
Harman Farms bought Huxley’s mother (Special Collection X Totally Awesome) from RW Genetics as a bred gilt in the summer of 2009. At a very young age he stood out from the rest as he still does today. He is moderate framed, wide based, big topped, and balanced while being extremely flexible. This litter was very deep with two littermate gilts finishing at the top at every major gilt show where they showed. We think that this consistency will pass onto his offspring. He is expected to produce tough showy barrows and gilts.

This gilt was the Reserve Champion at the 2010 Summer Type Conference. Tyler Park from IN purchased her at the Prairie State Semen Appreciation Sale as a club pig and did a wonderful job raising her. We purchased her back knowing the sow line behind her as she's out of Buck Cherry on the sire side. She is a deep deep bodied gilt that is busted open from front to rear. Elly floated around the ring with ease at Louisville while displaying a profile that would make any barrow feeder very excited. The width on the top of her huge rib cage carries through to a square, nearly perfect hip giving her way too many breeding pieces not to own her again and retain in the herd. This time we bred her to Meat Packer to generate some exciting barrows for the early shows while thinking of finishing strong with some flashy females for the State Fairs or retaining to better the sow herd. |
